Comparing audits
To compare output of audits performed for a single computer (user), you
should first open a selected
user (computer) on the network list on the Network tab. Then in the information panel switch to the Comparison tab.
The drop-down Audit 1 list
includes dates of all audits. When you select an audit, the Audit 2 list will display dates of
audits which have been performed earlier than the one highlighted on the Audit 1 list. Below there is a
drop-down list with types of displayed results:
- Identified
applications,
- Identified
applications – omitted,
- Unidentified
applications,
- Unidentified
applications – omitted.
When you select audits to be compared and a type of presented results,
the list of changes will be displayed. The list includes information required
to estimate differences quickly. The Change
column shows whether an application was added or deleted between audits
which are being compared. The difference is also shown. The icon means that between audit 1 and audit 2,
the application was deleted. The icon means that the application was installed
between audits.
Printing
To
print a comparison of audits, from the main menu select File
Print..., click on the toolbar or press the key combination of
Ctrl + P. The printout includes a
currently selected type of comparison, which means identified applications,
identified applications – omitted, unidentified applications unidentified
applications – omitted. Information on a user and operating system is also
attached to a report. It is also possible to preview a printout by selecting File
Print

Saving
as Microsoft Excel workbook
Saving as Microsoft Excel workbook is possible only, when Excel has been
installed. To save audit comparison, from the main menu select File
Save as,
click on the toolbar or press the key combination of
Ctrl + A. A typical dialogue box for
selecting a file to save will be displayed on a screen. When you select a file
location and name, click the Save button.
Contrary to printouts, the file which has been created includes all types of
results which means which identified applications, identified applications –
omitted, unidentified applications unidentified applications – omitted.
Information on a user and operating system is also attached.
