Information panel - General
The
general tab on the information panel contains general data related to
an opened user (computer).
In the upper part the information list
is displayed, showing information on a user, installed Agent and operating system.
- Name is a descriptive name, which is defined at the stage of defining or editing a
user.
- Host is a name of a user’s computer.
- IP is an IP address of a user’s computer.
- ID is a unique name which is assigned to a
user when Agent is run for the first time. It enables to identify a
computer unambiguously even if its IP address and/or a user have changed.
- System specifies a Widows system version.
- Agent
version is the information on a version of
installed monitor software. This information is required to perform remote update for Agent.
- Date of
last audit specifies when the last software audit was
carried out.
If some of the fields are blank, it means that uplook has not established a connection with Agent and a database
does not include any information on previous connections.
The list containing history (a log)
of all commands sent to and received from Agent
is the last object on the tab. Browsing the log, you are able to detect all
irregularities. Each element has an icon specifying the type of information:
- A connection with Agent has been established
- Agent has been disconnected.
- Information has been sent
to Agent.
- Information has been received from Agent.
- A message has been sent
to Agent.
- An error.
