Maintaining a computer network
Computer network
setup and configuration can be accessed from the Network tab on the navigation bar in the program main window. The tab consists of two
elements: the tool bar and the list representing the structure of a computer
network.
The computer network is shown as a tree, where the network name is a
parent element (a root). The other elements include groups and individual
computers (users), which can be assigned to a specific group or directly to the
network. Using relevant commands, you can assign computers as you wish, create
new groups or remove existing ones. You can also add new groups to the network.
Pictures representing individual users (computers) change, depending on
a current computer status.
- The computer is on.
- The computer is off.
- The computer is being
monitored by an Agent.
- The Agent is connected with the
executive program.
- The computer is not connected to a computer
network.
