Opening a user
To open a user, highlight the user on the network list of the Network tab. Then, from
the context menu select Open, or
from the main menu select File Open or click on the toolbar. You can also double click on a
selected user or press the Enter key.
When a user is opened, the program displays the information
panel. Then uplook attempts to
establish a connection with Agent
installed on a hard disk of a computer which is being opened. If a connection
is established, the panel can be used to exchange current data between uplook and Agent. A connection is indicated by a change of a user’s icon
represented by ( ) on the network list on the Network tab. If there is no connection,
all commands which require data exchange with Agent are unavailable.
In such a case, you can use the information panel to browse archived data,
stored in a data base.
Only one user can be opened at one go.
