The Automation Module is another big step towards saving your time. What is more, you will be able to keep up with the relevant information.
Statlook 2019 introduces a completely new functionality - automatic notifications (e.g. e-mail). It means better communication between Statlook and system Administrators. Make your work easier - create rules and decide when you want to be informed about events!
Below we show an example of how our new Automation Module will help you in your everyday work.
Step 1.
You want to receive notifications of expiring warranties one week before the end, and one week after the end of a warranty. In the wizard, we select the type of rule that we want to create - in our case it will be “The end of warranty” notification.
Step 2.
You simply select the dedicated resources to which the rule is to be applied. Remember that you can specify any number of resources.
Step 3.
In the next step, you specify the time when you will receive the notifications. We can decide whether it should be one specific time or choose a few options (e.g. one week before and one week after the warranty expires).
Step 4.
Choose the action. In our case, it is just sending an e-mail. We define recipients of the notification. They can be either the users from your organization selected from the list or any other e-mail addresses.
Step 5.
Name your rule, enter a description if you feel you might need it, select notification category and enjoy the time saved!

The absence module is an online tool that, based on electronic holiday requests, automates the process of managing leaves and other absences in the company.

The module enables servicing the whole process of acceptance and control the use of holidays without paper documents. Absence management module is a tool which, based on electronic holiday applications, automates the process of managing holidays and other absences in the company. Employees can report different types of absences. These can be holidays, illness, as well as remote work, delegations and other circumstances. The module also gives the possibility to restrict access to selected types of absences for individual employees or co-workers. Our module is efficient holiday management, thanks to the possibility of building multi-level acceptance processes. The accepting person can be both a regular employee, a supervisor, the whole team, as well as a substitute person. The module allows you to add medical exemption and other documents using the drag & drop mechanism. Another important functionality is the possibility of integration with Active Directory, as well as inheritance of rights on the absent line - the deputy. Absence management module is a comprehensive solution, automating the flow of information on absences, as well as transparency, who is responsible for what in absence.

This iteration was carried out under the motto "security". Our main focus was directed at enhancing the level of security on each IT infrastrucuture level - due to that, we introduced many functionalities concerning firewalls, anti-viruses, employee monitoring as well as Helpdesk system. A new report, which will ensure that every client computer has antivirus, antimalware and firewall installed. Keep using it in order to keep a high standard of protection!
Be on your guard! An increasing number of cyberattacks comes from the company’s network. How is it possible? It often appears that the end users unintentionally download malware – thus, allowing hackers to successfully attack your network.
Maybe these are not attacks that are your concern, but your workers downloading their favourite songs from unknown sources? From now on, you can verify who and from which site was downloading files on computers.
Version 12.1.0 is now equipped with a function of printing requests concerning applying and modifying authorizations to perform certain operations on personal data and datasets. Each authorization has already prepared template – ready to fill in and print anytime. It takes only to prepare such a document once – next ones will be generated automatically according to the template.
Moreover, when a request for authorization to access a dataset appears and Information Security Administrator decides to accept it, the system will automatically forward this task to a person responsible for this dataset.
In order to enhance the ergonomy of work performance – and as a response for our clients’ requests – statlook Web underwent a change concerning the change of styles for all forms and reports. You will never get confused about which report should be filled in!

Version 12.0 of statlook system was a vast challenge to us, mainly due to a great number of changes and new functionalities. Due to that, there appears a solid change in how our system works like - of course, only for the better! We are expectionally proud of our new statlook GDPR module, which introduces solutions designed in accordance with General Data Potection Regulation - ultimately planned to be introduced on 25 May 2018. As it majorly changes the means of securing data processing activities, we are extremly glad to present our Customers with solutions which ensure that the implementation of new rules will go smoothly.
Moreover, we were able to enhance many of the functionalities which have already proved themselves to be very useful in terms of IT administrators' daily routine. Such functions as remote session history, password policy configuration or expanded License module will definitely influence your work in a positive way. As you know, knowledge is power - and in case of IT administrators, an absolute must-have.
There are also changes that may appear to be lesser ones, yet they prove to be very influencial as well - concerning mainly data transmission capacity and global search results. Due to implementing our proprietary WWW engine we can say goodbye to the solution made by the Rendmond’s Giant. Thanks to integrating with our won solution statlook Web configuration became maintenance-free, the update will proceed automatically, the performance became even better – and so your efforts to cut the expenditures. By getting rid of IIS server we do not have to worry about another CAL’s connected to this server anymore.
Change your ports depending of data transmission capacity
This solution makes no difference at first glance – yet how useful it proves to be! You may decide if you prefer your agents to connect to the server as it used to be – by using HTTP protocol – or start using NET.TCP. The latter solution lets you saving the band and guarantee that the connections will remain coherent – even if you have Proxy server within your Web.

Version 12.0 introduces a vast change to the license module. From now on, it is a complex object, such as the other statlook resources. Each license may possess an assigned attachment, owner or a note. Every change in the licenses are monitored and controlled – as in the case of computers, you may create sets out of them. Detection of installed software and creating licenses on the basis of the product’s key also proves to be a useful feature.
